Gautrain partners with Le Diner en Blanc Johannesburg 2018

It is with much excitement that the Johannesburg Diner en Blanc team are proud to announce that the Gautrain are on board as the official transportation partner of the 2018 event.

One of the crucial elements of the evening is the logistics of transporting guests and their table décor to and from the secret venue on the 29th of September and this requires multi-faceted expertise that the team at the local transportation industry leaders have been achieving for years.

“Gautrain is excited to partner with Diner en Blanc for their Johannesburg 2018 event. This partnership strengthens our commitment to promote Gautrain as a lifestyle choice, that ensures a safe and reliable means of travel to places of interest along the route.” Dr Barbara Jensen, GMA Senior Executive Manager, Communication and Marketing.

On the date as mentioned above, the guests will be invited to meet at one of the 4 Stations will be in use - Midrand, Sandton, Rosebank and Park Station and they will then be transported to a central station closest to the venue. Gautrain buses will then meet guests and take them the last leg of the journey to enjoy a night to be remembered and return them safely in the same manner.

Great news!!
Two questions:
1. Will we be purchasing DeB/Gautrain passes to the venue or will our regular Gautrain cards do?
2. Gautrain, parking closes at 21:00, will they stay open longer?

Hi Thami, glad you are as excited as we are about this partnership! Please note that a preloaded ticket will be issued as part of your Le Diner en Blanc ticket which will cover your parking, train trip and bus trip for the event. The Parking will be kept open for Le Diner en Blanc guests on departure.
